VAUGHAN, August 15, 2012- The Ontario Cup presented by Boston Pizza had a very exciting weekend, as the Ontario Summer Games took place in Toronto. Teams in the Under 15 Boys Tier 1 and Under 15 Girls divisions joined almost 2500 athletes in 28 different sports in pursuit of an Ontario Summer Games gold medal. more »

TORONTO FC & KIA LAUNCH KICKSTART PROGRAM

WHAT:  The MLSE Team Up Foundation will launch KickStart, a free six-week soccer program in 10 Toronto Community Housing communities.  It is an opportunity for kids aged 6 to 12 years of age to build soccer skills, self-esteem, fair play and leadership.  The event will celebrate and highlight enhancements at the Dentonia Park soccer pitch more »

Canada W20 Opens With Three Points In Japan

Canada has opened the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Japan 2012 at the top of Group C with three points and a +6 goal differential. Canada won its opening match 6:0 in Kobe, JPN over 10-player Argentina, scoring six times after an Agustina Barroso dismissal in the sixth minute. Korea DPR won the other Group more »
