Canada MNT: Roster Release and Media Schedule

Thursday 4 October | Roster release, Media Call:

  • Canada Soccer will host a national media call with Head Coach Stephen Hart at 13.00 ET / 10.00 PT on Thursday 4 October to announce Canada’s roster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Cuba on 12 October (BMO Field, Toronto) and against Honduras on 16 October (San Pedro Sula).
  • Media taking part in the call will be entitled to an embargoed copy of the roster release at 12.00 ET / 09.00 ET. All information must be kept strictly confidential until public launch at 13.00 ET / 10.00 ET.

Tuesday 9 October:

  • 10.30 to 12.30 ET: Training session at Nottawasaga Inn (Alliston, ON). Open to media, availability following session.

Wednesday 10 October:

  • 10.30 to 12.00 ET: Training session at BMO Field. Partially open to media, availability following session.

Thursday 11 October:

  • 11 to 12 ET: Official pre-match training session at BMO Field. First 15 minutes open for photo / filming. Availability following session.

Friday 12 October | FIFA World Cup™ Qualifiers, Canada v Cuba, 19.30 ET, BMO Field:

  • Accreditation required for match-day access: ‘Season passes’ were distributed to accredited media in June 2012. For replacement accreditation, or additional requests, please contact Richard Scott | rscott@soccercan.ca, 613.818.0305.
  • Seating in press box: Media seeking seating in press box are asked to RSVP to Richard Scott | rscott@soccercan.ca. 613.818.0305, to confirm attendance at 12 October match.
  • Doors open to media at 18.00
  • Kick-off at 19.30
  • Canada and Cuba coaches will partake in official post-match media conference. (5-10 minutes after FT)
  • All players available in mixed zone post-match
