In the Under 17 Boys Tier 2 Ontario Cup Final, Whitby Iroquois met Kleinburg Nobleton at The Soccer Centre in Vaughan. Both teams exchanged chances in the first half but the score remained 0-0 at half time. Things heated up in the second half as the teams continued to battle it out on the field. The game remained scoreless until the 91^st minute when Whitby’s #19 Joshua Trentadue scored to put Whitby on the board. The final score of the game would be 1-0 for Whitby. The Boston Pizza Player of the Game for Kleinburg was #13 Joesph Genova. The Boston Pizza Player of the Game for Whitby was #5 Cody Kraemer.
