Tremendous Achievements Within Our Soccer Community

OSA Membership!

I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge and recognize tremendous achievements within our Soccer community recently.

Over 17,500 fans watched our Men’s National Team defeat Panama by the score of 1 – 0 this past Friday. That was the largest crowd at BMO stadium this year to support our Men’s National Team in their quest to reach the 2014 World Cup stage. Thank you to all who attended and supported the team.

The recent Bronze medal achievement by our Women’s National Team at the Olympic Games was a tremendous success as well. Having the Women’s team athletes and staff attend the Men’s game last Friday to be recognized for their Olympic achievement created an "electric" atmosphere within the stadium and reinforced Canadian pride.

Recently we celebrated the participation of our Under 20 Women’s Team in the 2012 World Cup hosted in Japan.
Congratulations to 7 of our Ontario Athletes who represented Canada at the FIFA Women’s Under 20 World Cup.
