Ontario Cup Finals Recap 2012
VAUGHAN, September 10, 2012– The Ontario Cup presented by Boston Pizza had a thrilling set of Finals this past weekend at the Soccer Centre in Vaughan. The Ontario Soccer Association crowned eight Ontario Cup Champions from Under 12 to Senior, as well as two Provincial Champions in the Over 35 divisions.
The results of this past weekend’s Ontario Cup Finals are as follows:
Under 12 Boys: Woodbridge Strikers 2000 North defeated Vaughan Battlecats by a score of 1-0. For a full recap of the game click here.
Under 14 Boys: North Mississauga Panthers B98A defeated Mount Hamilton U14A by a score of 2-0. For a full recap of the game click here.
Under 14 Girls: Burlington Bayhawks defeated Pickering Power Green by a score of 2-0. For a full recap of the game click here.
Under 16 Boys Tier 1: Erin Mills Eagles Academy U16A defeated North York Hearts 96 by a score of 2-1. For a full recap of the gam click here.
Under 16 Girls: Burlington Bayhawks defeated Glen Shields 96 Red by a score of 2-1. For a full recap of the game, click here.
Under 17 Boys Tier 1: Erin Mills Eagles defeated Waterloo United by a score of 4-0. For a full recap of the game, click here.
Under 17 Girls: Richmond Hill Raiders Green defeated Ajax FC 96 Girls Red by a score of 2-0. For a full recap of the game, click here.
Women: North London Galaxy defeated Vaughan Azzurri with a score of 0-0, winning 4-3 on Kicks from the Penalty Mark. For a full recap of the game, click here.
Masters: Woodbridge TFCO Legends defeated Mississauga AC Soccer Diavoli by a score of 2-0. For a full recap of the game, click here.
Classics: Rexdale Reunited Elites defeated London Marconi Azzurri with a score of 2-2, winning 7-6 on Kicks from the Penalty Mark. For a full recap of the game,click here.
