Team Ontario in all Gold Medal Games
The Ontario Soccer Associations U15 and U16 Male and Female Provincial Teams have enjoyed much success this past week out in the East Coast of Canada as all 4 teams will advance to the gold medal match to be played Saturday, July 20th, 2012.
Ontario U15 and U16 Boys at Opening Ceremonies
The Under 15 Boys have won all three of their matches beating British Columbia 1-0, Alberta 2-0 and Manitoba/Saskatchewan 2-1. Ontario will play Quebec in the final.
The Under 16 Boys have won two matches and drew one posting results of 2-0 vs Alberta, 0-0 vs British Columbia and 1-0 vs Team Atlantic. Ontario will play British Columbia in the final.
The Under 15 Girls started with a 1-1 draw vs Alberta and have won their next two games 1-0 vs British Columbia and 2-0 Manitoba/Saskatchewan. Ontario will play Quebec in the final.
The Under 16 Girls will also play Quebec in the final match as they had a record of beating Alberta in a high scoring match 5-4; followed by a 1-1 draw vs British Columbia and then beating Team Atlantic 3-1 to finish top of their group.
This years Nationals are being held in St. Johns, Newfoundland for the Males and in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the Females. The All-Star National Championships is the event that is attended by the Canadian Soccer Associations Youth Teams Staff and Scouts as they identify the best potential players for the National Youth Teams.
