Festival of Football Partners With Inaria Canadian Brand Becomes Official Apparel Supplier Of Charity Fundraiser
TORONTO – Participants in Festival of Football will take to the pitch in Inaria apparel as event organizers announced Wednesday the Canadian athletic brand will become the Official Apparel Supplier of the inaugural grassroots soccer fundraiser.
“Festival of Football is a great grassroots initiative that will improve the lives of people in our community, while advancing the profile of soccer in Canada” said Saverio Michielli, Managing Partner, Inaria International Inc. “This partnership is a great opportunity for our young company to give back to a community that has been instrumental to our success.”
Inaria will have exclusive rights in the apparel category providing participants, staff and volunteers with branded jerseys along with balls for game play. Having recently completed a rebranding, the company currently supplies the Oakville Soccer Club, Canada’s largest recreational youth soccer association, and has a deal with Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, USA. As part of the partnership, Inaria will execute promotions that raise funds for the cause, reward top fundraisers and showcase its new brand.
“Inaria is the perfect partner to help grow Festival of Football into a highly-anticipated annual event on the Toronto soccer scene,” said Mike Fenton, Executive Director, Campaign, West Park Healthcare Centre Foundation. “The company’s commitment to soccer and involvement at the grassroots level over the years will be an asset in relaying the West Park message to the soccer community throughout the Greater Toronto Area.”
In support of West Park Healthcare Centre Foundation’s $100 million fundraising campaign, Festival of Football is Canada’s largest adult-oriented grassroots soccer fundraiser set for August 18 at Eglinton Flats in Toronto. The epic day-long event will be a complete soccer experience featuring teams playing in six-on-six games, as well as entertainment, interactive activities, food, prize giveaways and appearances by VIPs and soccer celebrities.
Proceeds will help fund a major expansion of West Park Healthcare Centre ensuring exemplary care for generations to come. The west Toronto hospital, located just 400 metres from Eglinton Flats, helps individuals manage difficult health challenges including those associated with lung disease, diabetes, stroke, amputation and musculoskeletal issues. An aging population in the GTA means West Park will play a vital role in improving quality of life now and in the future.
