Play It Forward
The Play It Forward initiative delivers soccer equipment and coaching information to communities where structured programs are not available. This gives children an opportunity to participate in soccer and helps the communities sustain sports programs. The Burlington Youth Soccer Club in conjunction with Sport Nova Scotia visited Port Hawkesbury, Port Hood, Baddeck and Cheticamp on Cape Breton Island from June 6 to 11. This program delivered equipment and uniforms to approximately 900 children in these four communities.
