OSATv TouchLine With Jason de Vos
VAUGHAN, ON – This week’s guest on OSATv TouchLine with host Anthony Totera features Jason de Vos – former Team Canada Captain and current Technical Director at the Oakville Soccer Club – reminiscing about his personal journey starting from the grassroots level in Canada to a professional soccer career in Europe and playing on Canada’s winning Gold Cup team in 2000.
In the second of two interviews, de Vos elaborates on his vision for fixing Canada’s “broken” system and developing the Game of Soccer from the grassroots to the professional, national and international level based on the foundations of Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) currently being rolled out across Canada by the Canadian Soccer Association and in Ontario by the Ontario Soccer Association.
