True Patriot Love ‒ Canadian support catches fire
Canada had the support of a terrific home crowd on Friday 2 September for its opening match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers™. The Canadian fans were loud, most notably for an impromptu singing of the national anthem during the match. They were just as loud in response to each of Canada’s four goals.
The Canadian team hopes to receive similar support for its upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiersâ„¢ home matches on 11 October and 15 November. Both Tuesday matches will kick off at 19.00 ET, with the October match to be played against Puerto Rico and the November match to be played against St. Kitts and Nevis.
