Ontario U-14 Boys Fall 1-0 To Quebec And Win Silver
BROSSARD, QC, Sunday, July 27, 2008 — The Ontario U-14 Boys played their final match of the 2008 BMO National All-Star Championships, falling 1-0 against a tough opponent in Team Quebec.
The Ontario Boys had a slow start in the first half and picked up the pace in the second.
However, time ran out after Quebec’s marker in the 37th minute of the second half and the Ontario Boys were unable to stage a come-back.
Ontario needed a win against points-leader Quebec for the gold.
Congratulations to the U-14 Ontario All-Stars for their Silver Medal achievement in a well-fought tournament!
