Ontario U-16 Girls Open With 3-0 Win Over Newfoundland And Labrador
SHERWOOD PARK, AB, Tuesday, July 22, 2008 — The Ontario U-16 Girls won their opening match of the 2008 BMO National All-Star Championships today against Newfoundland & Labrador.
Christine Exeter found the back of the NL net first at 10:58 into the game.
She then followed with two more strikes at 19:55 and 29:04 in the second half for a hattrick.

The Newfoundland and Labrador squad played a spirited game but was unable to solve Ontario’s formidable defense lead by Olivia Mbala and Katherine Lawrence.
Nicole Mitchel provided dangerous offensive crosses and well-placed corners to keep Ontario on the attack.
Keeper Lauren Kadet earned the shut-out.
