- Trevor Shelton – Technical Director of Mississauga’s Dixie Soccer Club, on some of the coaching philosophy behind the club’s long history and continuing tradition of developing players and teams which compete successfully at regional, national and international levels.
- Tony Ronca – Head Coach of Mississauga’s Dixie Soccer Club U17 Boys Rep Team, on his interest in, passion for, and success in, coaching youth soccer and helping develop players and teams to compete at their full potential.
- Lino Almeida – President of Mississauga’s Dixie Soccer Club, on the club’s history and tradition of building success through the tireless efforts and passion of Dixie SC’s dedicated volunteers working together in a spirit of mutual respect and cooperation with the other local, municipal, regional and provincial stakeholders in Mississauga and Peel-Halton.
- Joe Moscato – Dixie Soccer Club player, coach and volunteer in many capacities, on his experiences playing on a US Scholarship, Dixie SC’s road map for player development and his memories coaching his young sister, former Penn State and current Canadian Women’s Team star, Carmelina Moscato.
The Dixie Soccer Club was established in 1968 as Mississauga’s first youth club. Today, the club has about 4,000 members and serves both youth and adult players. The Dixie Soccer Club is a not-for-profit club affiliated with the Peel Halton Soccer Association (PHSA).
Among its accomplishments, Dixie Soccer Club tallies:
- 24 Ontario Cups Championships
- 16 Ontario Indoor Cups
- 3 Gold Medals – Canadian National Club Championships
- 5 Silver Medals – Canadian National Club Championships
- 1 Bronze Medal – Canadian National Club Championships
